Vahab S. Mirrokni My name is Seyed Vahab Mirrokni. I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Theory Group at Microsoft Research. I received my PhD in Theoretical Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology under supervision of Professor Michel Goemans . Prior to joining Microsoft Research, I was a Postdoctoral Associate in the Theory of Computation Group at MIT Computer Science and AI Laboratory. I was also holding a research scientist position in the strategic planning and optimization group at Amazon.com . I have a B.Sc. from the Computer Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology . During my PhD studies, I spent some time doing research at Microsoft Research , IBM T.J. Watson research center, and Bell-Laboratories. Teaching Last year, I cotaught Algorithms and Economics of Networks as a graduate course at University of Washington.
